Components? Art? Jewelry?

02.16.2009 • Posted by: David

Here at Handspun we like to push the limits of what is possible with the components that we work with. The latest example of this a little project for Frostbike this weekend:

DT Swiss spokes cut down, hand hammered, and fitted with DT Alloy nipples in color- the end result is the classiest spoke bracelet you’ve ever seen. Available only this weekend at Frostbike- stop by the Handspun booth and we’ll set you up with one.

Big thanks to Anthony and Keith for (literally) hammering these out, and thanks to Eric Thorson for the photo.

Frostbike Approaches

We’re just one week away from Frostbike 2009, the annual bicycle dealer/vendor open house hosted by Quality Bicycle Products. We’ll be showing off a lot of new items, and here’s the latest:

Two shots of one hub- the Hope/Handspun Pro 3, 32h, straight pull, convertible from q/r to 15mm to 20mm axle. Total XC supremacy. What wheels will they turn into? The answer is coming in 8 days.
