Hello, and welcome to the Handspun Blog! The intent of this blog is to discuss all things wheel-related: builds, technology, applications—whatever happens to come along. There are as many opinions on these topics as there are wheel builds, so the discussion should be lively and enlightening. In case you missed the introduction on the main page, Handspun grew out of the former QBP WheelHouse, which has been quietly producing some of the finest wheels available for the past decade. The builders and build quality from QBP WheelHouse are now the backbone of Handspun. The vision for Handspun is to be “The First Choice in Wheels”- What that means is that we produce the finest wheels, using the best components available. Whether you’re interested in our hand-finished production wheels, or some custom wheels that you create, you will know that they were built by some of the most experienced builders on the planet. How experienced? Over the past decade, the veteran builders at Handspun have produced literally hundreds of thousands of wheels. Every single one was hand trued, stress-relieved and tension checked to bring it to industry leading tolerances. Every single one. Please take a moment to check out the site—we’re currently putting the finishing touches on our 2009 product line, and it will definitely have something for everyone. Our Featured Products section will change often to showcase some of the exciting new builds that we’re offering, as well as to showcase some of the custom work that’s coming through.
